A little haul

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I was struck down by a nasty sickness bug which has taken a while to get over, but here's a little haul of things I bought before getting sick, it was also my birthday whilst I was ill so a couple of these things were pressies as well.

Ikea - Lonsboda, Pink Glass Candle £3.39, I bought 2 of these as there beautiful and I love pink glass, plus for just over 3 pounds there a bargain!

Ikea - Dromlik, set of 3 rose print candle pots, £3.29 for 3, I love anything with a rose print on it so also grabbed these, again a real bargain, Ikea have some really beautiful things at the moment.

Rose print stacking boxes from ebay £11.00 including p&p, Iv been looking for some small boxes like these for ages to store my make-up and they work a treat.

Small vintage frame and floral print, this was from my mum for my birthday, she picked it up from our local market who have a vintage event every month, I'm currently filling one wall of my bedroom in frames and pictures and this will make a lovely addition.

Small vintage trinket box - again a present from my mum, again from the vintage market, it's very very pretty, it isnt showing up very well but its actually a very pale yellow porcelain.

Hanging plaque and hanging pearl heart - again a present from my mum from a independent local home shop close to us, I love hanging items and these 2 are so pretty, my mum knows me so well!

A little window shopping

So iv been out "shopping" today, sadly it was window shopping as the purse is short of a few pennies but heres some of the lovely things I spotted.

• Ditsy Flag Printed Canvas with Buttons - £9.99 from Dunelm Mill, I thought this was so pretty plus its British inspired, and I love a bit of patriotism.

Hummingbird string lights - £22.40 down from £32.00 (this weekend) from Laura Ashley, I love fairy lights and these are so unusual and beautiful.

Pink Glass Jar - £12.00 from Next, I just love pink glass!!

White Rabbit Teacup

 - £15.00 from Urban Outfitters, I collect tea cups, new or vintage, if it's pretty enough I'll grab it (and use it) fell in love with this one and it's definetly on the wishlist.

Creative Tops Tea Party Storage Tins Set of 3 - £7.99 from Hobbycraft, Im loving all the British inspired items in the shops at the moment for the Queens jubilee, I love these and I think there a bit of a bargain as well!

My Laura Ashley Wishlist

I Love Laura Ashley home-ware as a rule anyway but iv just instantly fallen in love with these items, and these prices are on a 30% discount for the bank holiday weekend, I may have to treat myself to one of the items as I do think they seem quite good value, the jewellery box especially! plus my birthdays coming up perhaps one could be put away in the pressie cupboard ;)

10 things from my room

So I thought my first post should sum up what Im like and I think this is a great way to start!

1 ~ My birdcage, that I decorated years ago, still the pride and joy of my room and worthy of being in the no1 slot.

2 ~ My very old Angelina Ballerina doll, before her revival and cartoon, she was a book character of the 80's, she was one of my very first toys as a child but lived on a shelf to be looked at, shes always remained in my room since I was about 3 years old i'm now 25 and shes still living on a shelf pride of place, shes very sentimental so had to be on the list.

3 ~ I love my beauty! and Im a British girl so of course I had to include some soap & glory!

4 ~ My homemade bunting, I love sewing and bunting is one of my favorite things to make.

5 ~ My dressing table mirror, one of my favorite things as my dressing table was my grandmothers and is very vintage and chic as well as being sentimental, I used to play dress up when I was little in front of this mirror and i'm doing it 20 years on.

6 ~ My rose oil painting, again this was my grandmothers, its just beautiful and sums up my style.

7 ~ Tea-cups, I love teacups and I do drink my tea out of them I think it tastes better, but I also love them as decoration, I love the Alice in wonderland feel that they give off.

8 ~ Trinkets, I love little trinkets that I can hang from anywhere and everywhere, these were actually Christmas decorations and the robin was from Monsoon homeware who have some beautiful little trinkets, the tin decoration was from a lovely little boutique shop in my local town.

9 ~ Glass, I have a lot of glass items in my room and this is one of my favorite items from urban outfitters who of course always have beautiful things.

10 ~ Finally and I had to include this, my new bed, its the focal point of my room and is my pink haven, sums me up a tee!
